Is an international version the same product?
An international version is a genuine product originally intended for a market outside the US. The hardware and core functionality are generally the same; what can differ is the market allocation, packaging, documentation, and manufacturer warranty coverage.
GrayPorter is an authorized retailer, not the manufacturer. Anniversary-edition stock is limited and allocated per order, the finish and edition can't be swapped after checkout.
Why the version matters
Same camera, different paperwork
Imported units are often the cheaper listing elsewhere. The hardware can be identical; what differs is who stands behind it.
Cover that actually applies
Your 2-year GrayPorter Warranty is ours and applies to this unit regardless of region. Manufacturer coverage on an imported unit often doesn't.

Repairs go to a factory-authorized US center with OEM parts. No shipping a camera overseas and waiting on customs.
