5-Axis Shake Reduction
The GR IV has a new 5-axis Shake Reduction system that compensates for up to 6 stops of camera shake.
Super-Slim, High-Performance GR Lens
The GR IV incorporates a newly designed 18.3mm F2.8 GR lens (equivalent to 28mm in 35mm format), delivering exceptional imaging performance with a slim design.
Rich Tones, High-Sensitivity Performance.
The newly designed back-illuminated APS-C-size CMOS image sensor with approximately 25.74 effective megapixels, delivers exceptionally high-quality images rich in resolution and gradation.
Expanded Freedom in Exposure
Electronic Shutter up to 1/16000 sec. This allows you to apply the maximum aperture F2.8 even in bright conditions without an ND filter and opens up new expressive possibilities.
5-Axis, 6-Step Image Stabilization
The GR IV features 5-axis image stabilization. In addition to conventional angular and rotational blur, it also corrects shift blur, which tends to be noticeable during close-up shooting.
Wireless Connectivity and GR WORLD App
A new GR WORLD app has been designed for a simplified experience. This app enables transferring files from the camera to the mobile, remote shutter release control, and transferring of location data.
Multiple Autofocus Mode
The GR IV offers several AF area modes: whole-frame auto, a zone covering a quarter frame, a small single point, and a pinpoint option.
