The Sony a7 II Mirrorless Camera features 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization, 4.5 stops of compensation, a redesigned grip, shutter release button, customizable controls, a moisture- and dust-resistant magnesium alloy body, a more robust lens mount, and an enhanced Fast Hybrid AF system.
The a7 II is a completely redesigned camera that features a full-frame 24.3MP Exmor CMOS sensor, an ISO range of 100-51,200, and a BIONZ X Processor. It has a 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization system that compensates for 5 types of camera shake and supports fluid performance for high-speed shooting applications. It also has a faster hybrid AF algorithm, which improves performance by 30% over previous generations. This algorithm is 1.5x more accurate at predicting subject movement for tracking. The Sony A7 II is a smart video monitor that supports full HD and XAVC S formats, as well as minimal noise and artifacts and PCM sound for high-quality audio.
