Why it suits filming yourself
The flip screen lets you check framing while you talk, and the zoom lets you change the shot without moving the camera.
It records 4K video and has a 3.5mm microphone input, which most compact cameras at this price do not. The lens is bright at the wide end, so it handles indoor light better than most phones when you film at a desk or in a kitchen.

Buy them one at a time. Start with the microphone, because sound is the first thing viewers notice. Add the tripod once you know where you film most. A spare battery is cheaper than a power bank if you film away from a plug.
When a phone is enough
If you post short clips and rarely zoom, a recent phone may do the job. The camera earns its place when you film often or want optical zoom.
Phones also handle stabilisation and editing in one device. The G7 X Mark III makes more sense when you want a dedicated camera that does not interrupt filming with calls and notifications, and when you want optical zoom without losing quality.

The G7 X Mark III is $1,359.99 at GrayPorter, about $506 less than other retailers. It is the lowest-priced of the three compacts we carry, and the only one with a zoom and a screen that faces you while you film. If you see it cheaper elsewhere, we refund the difference.
Delivery and returns
Every camera ships factory-sealed from our US warehouse in Memphis, Tennessee, and is inspected before dispatch. Standard delivery is free and most orders arrive in 3 to 4 days. Express delivery usually takes about 2 days for a small fee, and you choose at checkout. If it is not right, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery, with free return shipping in the USA. It needs to be new, unused and in its complete original packaging. Opened or used items may be refused or charged a restocking fee, so try the camera in the shop or ask a porter before you break the seal.
Cover and support
Every order carries a 2-year warranty at no extra cost. It covers eligible defects and faults, and GrayPorter support handles the claim, not a third party.
