Every product sold by GrayPorter already includes a free 2-Year GrayPorter Warranty. The GrayPorter Extended Warranty is an optional add-on that continues your protection after those two years end, taking your total coverage to up to four (4) years from the date of delivery.

The Extended Warranty is sold and administered by GrayPorter PC Inc. By purchasing this add-on, the Purchaser agrees to the terms and conditions set out below.

GrayPorter PC Inc. The GrayPorter Extended Warranty is an optional service agreement available at checkout. It begins the moment your included 2-Year GrayPorter Warranty ends and, depending on the option you select, extends your total coverage to up to four (4) years from the date of delivery. By purchasing this add-on, the Purchaser agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. The Extended Warranty Period

Coverage under this Extended Warranty commences immediately upon the expiration of the included 2-Year GrayPorter Warranty. The duration is determined by the specific option selected and paid for at the time of purchase, up to a maximum total coverage of four (4) years from delivery. The applicable period is stated on your invoice.

2. Scope of Coverage

GrayPorter warrants that the product will not cease to function due to faulty workmanship or materials during the Extended Warranty period. If the product fails to function properly under normal use, GrayPorter, at its discretion, undertakes to:

Repair the product; or
Replace it with the same or an equivalent model; or
Refund the original amount paid for the product.

3. Warranty Exclusions

This Extended Warranty does not cover, or shall become void, under the following conditions:

Misuse and Neglect: Defects caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or failure to operate the product in accordance with the manufacturer's User Manual or provided instructions.
Environmental Damage: Damage resulting from exposure to chemicals, dust, sand, grit, moisture, dampness, fungus, or corrosion caused by liquids or vapors.
Physical Impact: Internal or external physical damage, including dropping the product or any other impact.
Unauthorized Intervention: Defects resulting from unauthorized disassembly, repair, alteration, tampering, or modification performed by any party other than the Manufacturer or its authorized service partners.
Consumables and Accessories: This warranty covers the main product unit only. It excludes all external accessories, consumable parts, and peripheral components provided with the original purchase.
Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear of the product or its parts, including gradual degradation of performance.
External Factors: Damage caused by leaking or exploding power sources, fire, flood, earthquake, electric storms, or other acts of God.
Non-Compatible Parts: Faults arising from the use of spurious or non-compatible parts, accessories, or power sources.
Identification: Any product where the original serial number has been removed, obliterated, or altered.

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a claim under this Extended Warranty, the Purchaser must follow these steps:

Contact GrayPorter: Claims must be initiated directly with GrayPorter via customerservice@grayporter.com.
Provide Proofs: The Purchaser must provide any proofs requested by GrayPorter to ascertain coverage. This includes, but is not limited to: the original GrayPorter sales invoice; proof of the Extended Warranty purchase; and a detailed description of the fault, along with supporting evidence.
Ship: Once the claim is pre-authorized, we will issue a Pre-Paid Shipping Label for you to send the product to our US service hub. All removable power sources and external accessories must be removed from the main unit and wrapped separately.

5. Limitation of Liability

No Manufacturer Involvement: The Purchaser acknowledges that this is an independent service provided by GrayPorter. The original manufacturer and its affiliates have no obligations or liabilities regarding this Extended Warranty.
Indirect Damages: GrayPorter is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of operational expenses, or loss of life/injury arising from product malfunction.
Final Decision: GrayPorter reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the settlement of all claims and the determination of whether a defect falls under the warranty terms and conditions.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
